Home - Always Keeping things Clean

Since the HCM is so incredibly hardcore about keeping home a source of pure, clean, wholesome fun, we're going to suggest you help them out by joining one of the many clubs Home has to offer:

  1. 13 and up, right? Sony really ought to consider making Home adult-only if they are going to continue hosting a virtual world with minimal moderation. Sony primarily advertises and markets M rated content in Home knowing they have an audience of 13 year olds and younger without supervision. They knowingly place children in an environment filled with predators. Sony has created a haven for pedophiles and miscreants. It is just a matter of time before we see Sony Playstation Home on the news for enabling a predator to attack a child in real life, and sexually harass many more online daily.

  2. The mods are too busy hanging out with the Lochwoods.

  3. if someone is dumb enough to give out personal info to some random fuck, or if the parents care so little about what their kids are doing, i say they get whats coming to em. they gotta learn the hard way i guess.

  4. I would like to sue Sony. My daughter who is 15 was on there and this group of guys were trying to get her pictures and home address from her. I will not let her use the Ps3 now because I don't want her doing something stupid like giving her info to a criminal. I called Sony but they refused to take my complaint because they said I had to monitor her activity online. I asked why they allow 13 year olds on to begin with and they told me to be a better mom. I hate Sony for this. Home would be a better place if they would help protect the kids but it should be for just adults.

  5. I have mixed feelings. Parents should be more careful, but they can't be with their kids every moment of the day (walking to school or walking around in home). We have cops to help protect people in public places but Sony doesn't seem to be patrolling their world much. If someone does get assaulted or killed and Home played even a tiny role, Sony is going to get some very bad press.

wow, first off, good job on keeping an eye on your daughter. second, it's horrible how Sony responded to your legit complaint. i'm sorry they were assholes to you.

  8. You have something against female nudist colonies?? For shame lol.

  9. Yes Jennifer your story is too typical of Sony. And it begs the question of the priorities of the Home moderation staff.

I wonder why it was the mod eefinem followed me around for about a month, scolding me for using the word "gay" in conversation (something everyone does in Home) and finally banning me for quoting scripture in the plaza.

And yet I've seen at least one known convicted pedophile roam in Home with nothing to stop him.

  13. @J-T-W-N-Y - From my experience eefinem is a really cool dude, and is one of the few who actually deal with harassment. But yes, majority of the moderation team does not do anything about harassment.

Also, I may be the only one, but I laughed at jerkin' krew.

  14. He may be cool, but still I wondered why me saying the word "gay" was so imperitive that he had to follow me around for a several weeks scolding me for it. I thought then (and still do) that there were more important matters than me saying "gay."

  15. Because some members of the moderation have personal vendettas with people. I think it's ridiculous that they allow it to happen, but..

I was harassed by Edisnaeco for quite a while and attacked with many accusations, things I was not guilty of.

In fact, GlassWalls said it would be taken care of, and was, allegedly, but I know for a fact that Edisnaeco still harasses people. The way things are run in Home are.. very shady to say the least.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I was told that too, and that for some reason he had a vendetta against me. But honestly, the few times I've seen him since eefinem has been okay.

And I remember Edisnaeco's harassment of you and your video. Very interesting. I thought he/she/it was fired?

  17. I wonder what the ESRB would have to say about this. Perhaps we should lobby them to give Home a second look.

  18. Alice, I would enjoy that more than anything to get someone who can slap sony left and right and put up a new rating for home. Personally it needs a wake up call and I wouldn't mind emailing then with about 10 others to monitor home and re-mark it with an M Rating or even an Adult rating.

  19. well I can say from personal experience I have been verbally attacked by Adampwns because he didn't like the way I post? I was sitting at the GH VIP when it first opened and he came up when i was sitting with people that recognized me from the forum - and he just started talking crap... he was being a jerk so I moved to another booth and Adam followed - it wasn't until I threatened to report him that he found some reason to leave... so I don't believe he is as innocent as he claims,,, he has a history of arguing with people and thats that.

  20. And i know i was personally attacked on multiple occations by the above poster "LilBlueEyes" in the PS forums. I'm glad she got a dose of what she gave daily in the forums with the silly little troll pictures she was allowed to post all the time. Funny how Karma works LilBlueTroll.

  21. Whatever - At least I have a backbone and stand behind my name.

    ReplyDelete
  22. @J-T-W-N-Y - Allegedly.. it isn't something that can be proven, because all I was told was that and I quote "internal changes have been made".

@LittleBlueEyes - Yes, thank you, that's absolutely relevant and nice to know you hold a grudge over something so pity.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I don't have a grudge,,, I just don't think you should put your image out there as a victim when you have a history... we all have a history but most of us own up to it.

    ReplyDelete
  24. @LilBlueTroll
I dont put my name here becuse of fear that the PS Forum staff will find reasons to boot out all the decent. I'm glad you own up to your role too. Its refreshing to see some backbone here.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Well Anonymous, I am sure I had reason to attack you,,, I just don't attack people out of the BLUE,,, get it (out of the Blue) - just like anyone else I will defend myself... Am I always right? no... Anyway that was the old Blue who did little tricks for Kudos treats - when I get back on the forums I will be more respectful even to the haters..

  26. @Adampwns - I was told this by a user named xCaNdYxGirlx. I've not seen her in months and as far as I can tell nobody else has either. I know that ID is an alt too. Both Trance and CruciA believe it is Stazzone, although I have my doubts. Candy Girl seemed to know an awful lot about Sony and the moderation team.
