  1. This is actually good news. That means that HW is making enough ripples for them to take notice.

  3. Funny how it happened right after that whole Cydoniax mess yesterday.

    Coincidence?

  4. well there's a different reason behind that. i'm pretty sure i know why they did it but to keep it short, the HCMs don't seem to like Home-Watch because i posted that PM from Glass for everyone to see. i think that's what really pushed them to not like us even more. not like i bashed Glass or anything, obviously, i just showed people an 'official' answer from an HCM. and now the other two are being pretty childish to say the least.

  5. Are you talking about the conversation you had after he invited you to send him a PM? I don't suppose the post in which you quoted his PM still exists?

  6. yes. and no those posts are still up. and like i said, the PMs were very unproductive because they chose to be childish and not take the matter seriously.

  7. I'm trying to find your post, but for some reason I can't see your most recent posts in your profile. Mind giving me the link?

  8. love to see this discussion! It’s great to see you all working through the issues and also, it’s great to see recommendations for testing. In the end, it’s what your actual users do and prefer hat should be your biggest driver in making these decisions.

  11. Oh, it's THAT post. I thought you were talking about a post you made afterwards. Sorry, I get confused easily. :)

  12. idk if there is another post where an HCM publicy asked me to PM them lol. i thought thats the conversation you were talking about.

  13. Well, I was under the impression that you had another PM conversation with one of the HCMs after you publicly confronted them, then posted that exchange for everyone to see.

    Does that make sense? :)

  14. kind of haha. it went like this: one of the other staff members here wrote this article http://home-watch.blogspot.com/2010/02/glasswalls-hackers-confusion.html

so i took it upon myself to first; make a thread about it. i made 2, they were deleted pretty quick, someone else made the same thread and it to got deleted.
so i then PMed every HCM and the head MOD with the same question you see here http://bit.ly/cHKtAb

Glass was the only one kind enough to even answer the question, although he only gave me the standard answer that i already knew. and he didn't answer the other, more important part.

so then Cyd makes that thread, "Home us & you."
    so i thought it would be good to post about it in there, then after a few back n forths she invited me to the PMs. here's where it gets funny & sad;
remember how i said Glass was the only one to responde in PMs even though i sent it to all of them? well after Cyd invited me to PMS, i typed a new, more direct and detailed question, BUT, she responded to the old question before i could send the new one. which tells me they rarely check their PMs. her and Locust both replied, after about a week of that message sitting in their PMs, and they both responded in a childish, immature way. but i also tells me they read the site, or they have people who read it then report back to them.

(Hi Cyd, Hi Locust ;) i hope you read those other messages i sent in response to your childish reply to my question)

So, does that clear things up a little? haha

  15. actually, it looks like Cydonia has read, or at least clicked on, the new question i sent, but i'm doubtful in getting a reply this time.

  16. Yep, it makes sense now. I sent a PM to Locust_Star about a week ago, and he didn't even open it. I wonder if he actually reads his PMs at all.
