" Hahahaha... yeah! I still can't believe so many people didn't realize this was a joke. Srsly people, Game Informer (April) FOOLED you all! We're not going anywhere. :smileywink:

P.S. We love everyone who spoofs Home. Thank you Game Informer!

At least someone can take a joke.

  1. This is somewhat off-topic, but I casually mentioned PSN Home Watch in that thread, and that part of my post was deleted. There was no link to the blog or anything, and I just mentioned it in passing, but still they removed it. Here's what my original post looked like:

"That's odd. Is that really what happened when BuggieTechnica left? I don't think I was there when it happened.

EDIT: Come to think of it, I don't even know anything about what happened to BuggieTechnica. I asked about it on PSN Home Watch, but nobody answered. Anyone care to fill me in?"

    And here's the edited post:

"EDIT: Come to think of it, I don't even know anything about what happened to BuggieTechnica. Anyone care to fill me in?"

  2. wow, lol. my suggestion:
edit it Back to What you Really said. if they re-edit it, edit it back again. keep doing that until they PM you with a new bullshit rule they made up.
AND use our URL-free signature, i use it and ever since i put it up i have not even received a warning to take it down. so you're safe there my friend.

  3. Done. I don't know if anyone will see it though. As for the sig, I intended to use it at first, but I've been a bit lazy about it. :)

By the way, here's a link to the post:

  4. Well, that was quick. Maybe the mods are watching this place.

  5. keep editing it. and i myself can't view the forums right now because i'm banned

  6. no worries, i'm sure other people want to see

  7. You're not alone anymore, Kapow, I've just been banned. :)

  8. so they didn't even give you One warning? that's fucked up man. consider this to be posted on our front page by yours truly.

  9. Thanks. This is the message that appeared when I refreshed the page:

Violating the rules and policies of the community, with actions such as spamming and posting inappropriate content. Your ban will last for 30 days effective 03-15-2010. Please do not attempt to evade your ban in any manner, as doing so will only serve to increase the length of your ban.

When your ban has expired, please refer to the Official Rules of Conduct and the New User Guide to review the rules and policies of the community. Additionally, please adhere to these rules and policies in the future, as future infractions will result in an extended or indefinite ban period.

  10. When Sony Computer Entertainment plus Lithium censor decent messages and then censor decent people they are telling good Sony customers: "FUCK YOU!" This site is awesome because it is a loud voice that they can not suppress. Now it is going to just get louder and more voices will break free of the forum.

"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." ~Voltaire

"What progress we are making. In the Middle Ages they would have burned me. Now they are content with burning my books." ~Sigmund Freud, 1933

  11. More HCM hypocrisy from CydoniaX: "Johnny, posting PMs from community managers in forum threads is not allowed, it's a privacy violation. This is why we ask that you guys don't PM us general concerns that a lot of people might have. Or if you do, allow us to answer in a public thread, rather than posting whatever our response is to you."

Sooo... another way to read that is "don't trust what bullshit we throw at you in a private message, we just want you to be excited enough by our response to LEAVE US THE FUCK ALONE!"

Hey Johnny, don't be a bad boy, don't slip up or play the fool. :p

  12. Well said Pygmy. My post was far from inappropriate, so its deletion was clearly to prevent people from knowing about PSN Home Watch. I wonder why they don't do anything about the signatures though.

  13. @TwilightVenom, they're figuring out which rule to bend to eliminate Home Watch from the signature too. Just be patient...

  14. Yeah, I suppose it's only a matter of time before they start censoring every possible reference to Home Watch. We can still spread the word via PM though.
