Email from a Lithium mod!

Via email:

Hello! First off, let me ask you, please don't post my name on your blog. I don't want to risk losing my position. I am [name removed] from the forums. I don't do too much on Home section forums, because frankly they are full of idiots. I actually never heard of this blog until after I saw multiple mentions of it on the secret moderator parts of the community forums. Let me say, I don't use home, and I don't have it installed. It's far too lame to really get into. I spent maybe a week wandering around it trying to find people to play street fighter with. I'm unsure why home is even needed to find other players, because truth be told, most games have easy to manage ways of meeting people IN THE FUCKING GAME. Home is a useless disaster and I applaud you for tearing into it, even if you enjoy using it or whatever. I wanted to let you know that even though I am a mod, I think your blog is awesome. It's really unfair that they went out of their way to block you. And yes, they did block you for no other reason then the fact that you present a risk to their profits. Playstation makes good money off stupid people. That's why they hired Lithium. Don't think just because someone is a mod that they like Lithium. They don't pay me a damn dime for the countless hours of nitpick patroling I do. All money in Lithium's pocket. Please keep up the good work and don't let them get you down, because you scare the hell out of them!

  2. I'd hate to do this, but I have a skeptical nature. Any way to prove it's not fake?

  3. As much as I want to believe it, I'd like to see some sort of proof too.

  4. That's obviously not true...

  5. I was skeptical too, but he sent me a msg over XMB to confirm earlier today, and yes, it's a real mod. I came close to calling him a bullshitter

  6. Hahaha, Just wow. Some of the stuff found on this blog. Well it's very hard to believe so I doubt highly doubt this is true.
Also, this blog as "Buggie" who you all may believe is ex-SCEA staff, False! It's not even funny that you guys believe anything and yet everything you hear! xD

  7. @ anon 11:54 the user who posts as Buggie has not once (to my knowlege) claimed to be buggietechnica or whatever his ID was, so where are you getting that from? What this blog represents is FREEDOM OF SPEECH, please don't knock that. If you must be a Sony fan boy, take it to the forums where all the other idiots have a voice.

  8. He could at least misspell his name so that people knew he wasn't real. XD

  9. The OP writes: "That's why they hired Lithium. Don't think just because someone is a mod that they like Lithium. They don't pay me a damn dime for the countless hours of nitpick patroling I do."

I'm confused. Are the forum mods paid to work, or is it a volunteer position?

  10. Agreed, J-T... confused.
Confused at how anyone who does not use Home can even form an educated opinion.
Home is a place to hang out and meet up. Kind of like how some people in the stoopid real world would meet up regularly at a coffee shop... or a bar... a park... fricken pottery class. Wherever!
Point is, would you say to someone, "I don't get why you meet at this coffee shop. It's stupid."? Same crap - different pile.
Those who enjoy Home may have different reasons, but the fact is there are MANY who do enjoy Home. Some on a daily basis. It doesn't really matter WHY Home was created, or what its PURPOSE was supposed to be. The users have obviously decided that they ARE going to pay for stuff that may or may not work, and that they ARE going to frequent its realm. Those who bash Home without actually using it are texting out of their asses. Those who actually do use Home and continue to bash it are either merely shit disturbers or people who do it in an attempt to help Home and its users.
This "Lithium Mod" seems to be a disturber imho.

  11. If that's a real mod, I do believe I think I know who it is! Tsk tsk tsk :D

Anywho, to JT and Nos: The mods are volunteers. Most of the time, the mods are regular forum members who have been tested and proven and asked and given strict rules to follow and then entrusted to be promoted to mod. That's how I became friends with a few of them, from before they were even mods! That's also how I know some of them are awesome people who just have to do their jobs moderating, even when they don't necessarily want to.

The admins (and I think admin-assistants) get paid.

As far as someone not using home but formulating an opinion on it . . . I believe the forums cause that opinion to be formed. Unfortunately. Because the forums aren't exactly a good representation of the people on home. Some good people and all on the forums. Many not so good, but in Home itself there's tons of great people to chat with that can share your (anyone's) interests.

  12. Hey guys, just to be clear, I'm not Jared Rea. I just stole his handle after he left SCEA. Just like I may have my girlfriend switch to CydoniaX after Heidi Anspaugh is fired (with cause) from SCEA. Hopefully HR has a thick file on that one. Just give her a drug test right now if you want to get rid of her quickly. She's a big dope head. I don't have anything against dope heads but Sony HR might. I do have something against incompetent Shatner heads with huge hands capable of crushing the life out of male genitalia and chins long enough to sodomize unsuspecting rectums during felatio.

Holy crap that just made me really hard for some reason.

  13. Also I am behind the conrad_max twitter and carolproof. I'm not doing conrad_max anymore and carolproof was banned six ways from Sunday. The guy is an asshole but that is his right. The tweets allowed me to explore his perspective on Sony and Playstation Home. It was truly frightening so I had to stop.

I am currently managing a host of PSN/Lithium accounts (thanks neighborhood WiFis), building forum moderator trust before I unleash a torrent of messages, images, PMs, etc. to reveal the true nature of Sony. I recommend that everyone spread the word about Home-Watch, in Home and across the web. I think it is only fair given the highly restrictive nature of the official forum.

  14. haha thats the biggest pile of shit to come out of this blog in a while. unless the mod is 12, you guys are more stupid than i thought.

  15. I don't care if it's true or not anymore, I am eagerly awaiting Buggie's War.

  26. My weiner has told better campfire stories than this! Seriously, what sort of watch site is this? When I am ever incriminating I always use proof without censor :-) seriously why act all tough and butthurt over Home then not have the balls to share us the real scoop? Are you still getting off on the idea you could buddy up with mods and forumers THAT much that you dont want to damage any "rep"?
